Shahpur MLA Extends Financial Support to Family of Accident Victim, Sponsors Children's Education

Shahpur | August 3: Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Keval Singh Pathania extended financial assistance to the family of late Pawan Kumar of Rehlu, who recently lost his life in an accident. He presented a cheque of ₹50,000 to the deceased’s elder daughter for her BCA admission and assured the family of continued support.

During an earlier visit to the bereaved family, Pathania was informed that Pawan Kumar, a mason by profession, was the sole breadwinner. He had arranged part of the admission fee for his daughter before the accident but tragically passed away before he could complete the payment.

Fulfilling his commitment, the MLA invited the three children to his office and handed over the financial assistance. He also announced that he would bear the entire cost of the elder daughter’s higher education, besides taking responsibility for the education of the younger daughter and son, who is studying in Class VI.

Pathania also spoke with the managing director of the educational institution, requesting maximum possible concession in the student’s fees. He said no child’s education should suffer due to financial hardship.

The Shahpur Congress ST Cell also assured support for the education of the two younger children. The MLA directed the SDM Shahpur to coordinate with four-lane project authorities to ensure all eligible assistance is provided to the affected family.

Reaffirming his commitment to the people of Shahpur, Pathania said every family in the constituency is like his own and pledged to stand by those facing hardship.
