Seven Block Development Officers Promoted to HPAS

The Governor of Himachal Pradesh has promoted seven substantive Block Development Officers (BDOs) to the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) on a regular basis under the provisions of the HPAS Rules, 1973. These promotions were made in consultation with the HP Public Service Commission and based on the Departmental Promotion Committee recommendations.

The promoted officers and their postings are:

• Ms. Kalyani Gupta as Project Officer, ITDP, Keylong (additional charge of Assistant Commissioner to DC, Lahaul & Spiti).
• Shri Jagdeep Singh as Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner, Kangra at Dharamshala.
• Shri Abhishek Mittal as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Bharmour, Chamba.
• Shri Kirti Chandel as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Dodra Kwar, Shimla.
• Ms. Jaibanti Devi as Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner, Kullu.
• Shri Chandervir Singh as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Salooni, Chamba.
• Shri Om Prakash as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Kafota, Sirmaur.

The officers have been promoted in Level-18 of the Pay Matrix (₹56,100–₹1,77,500) with immediate effect.
