Preparations Underway for Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s Visit to Shimla

Shimla, 4 June 2025 – A high-level meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap was held today to review preparations for the upcoming visit of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar to Shimla on 6 June. He is scheduled to depart for Solan on 7 June.

Key issues including security arrangements, traffic control, sanitation, drinking water, medical services, and emergency response were discussed in detail. The DC directed all concerned departments to ensure timely and coordinated execution of responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of the visit for the district.

Senior officials from police, administration, municipal corporation, health, PWD, and transport departments attended the meeting.
