Shimla, April 18: Pradesh Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh stated that no matter how much propaganda the BJP indulges in, it will not gain any political advantage from it. She reminded the BJP that when employees were protesting on the roads for their demands, at that time their Chief Minister Jairam Thakur called for contesting elections to receive pensions. She said that during the BJP’s tenure, the demands of the employees were not fulfilled. Even the day allowance for employees was not given during the BJP’s tenure. The state government has inherited a debt of over 70 thousand crores and liabilities of more than 12 thousand crores from the BJP.

Pratibha Singh said that the BJP is opposing the Congress’s guarantee to give 1500 rupees to the women of the state. She mentioned that even the Election Commission has approved the continuation of the honorarium of 1500 for the women of Lahaul-Spiti. She asserted that the Congress government is fully committed to providing this amount to all eligible women in the state.

Pratibha Singh stated that the Congress government of the state will fulfill all its promises made to the people. She said that after the unsuccessful attempt by the BJP to destabilize the state government, it will now have to face a resounding defeat in all four Lok Sabha and six Assembly seats in the state.

Pratibha Singh said that the Congress government of the state is completely secure and will be even stronger after the election results.
