Popular Pahari Singer AC Bhardwaj Enthralls Audience at Bahra University’s Techno Virsa Cultural Evening

Shimla, May 28, 2024 – Bahra University’s Techno Virsa 2024 kicked off with a vibrant cultural evening featuring popular Pahari singer AC Bhardwaj, who captivated the audience with his lively Pahari songs, making students dance to the energetic tunes.

The two-day Techno Virsa 2024 event began with an inaugural ceremony led by Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice Chancellor Professor Satvir Singh Sehgal, Director General R.M. Bhagat, and Registrar Vineet Kumar, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the commencement of the festivities.

The cultural night was a showcase of diverse performances by Bahra University students, including Pahari Nati, Punjabi dance, Bhangra, Haryanvi songs, dramas, solo dances, and traditional dances from various regions like Lahuli Garfi, Kinnauri Nati, Chambyali Nati, and Suketi Nati. Each performance reflected the rich cultural heritage of the respective regions, adding a colorful tapestry to the event.

Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra extended his congratulations to everyone involved in organizing the successful event and praised the participants for their vibrant performances. This annual event continues to be a significant highlight of the university calendar, fostering cultural exchange and celebration among students.
