Only BJP Has Truly Preserved Ambedkar’s Legacy and Values: Anurag Thakur

14 April 2025, Himachal Pradesh: On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, former Union Minister and MP from Hamirpur, Anurag Singh Thakur paid tribute to Baba Saheb in Dehra and Gagret assemblies. He emphasized BJP’s role in preserving Ambedkar’s heritage, accusing Congress of historical neglect. Thakur highlighted that it was BJP-backed governments that ensured Ambedkar’s portrait in Parliament and built national memorials like in Mhow. He stated that only under Modi government, Ambedkar’s birth and key life sites were developed as “Panch Teerth”, Constitution Day was instituted, and Ambedkar International Centre was built in Delhi.
