Nodal officer appointed for sanitation arrangements

Shimla, 14 December- District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi, while issuing the order today, said that in view of the increasing number and deaths of corona infected patients in the district, section 34 of the Disaster Management Act 2005 in the district for prevention of Covid-19 epidemic Nodal officer has been appointed for sanitation arrangements.
He informed that to improve the functioning of timely sanitation arrangements at the grassroots level, the Block Development Officers have been given the responsibility to clean the houses / premises of the patients affected by the Corona epidemic for safety. He has been instructed to provide information of everyday activities in this regard to the Sub-Divisional Officer of the area.
Aditya Negi said that these orders have been implemented in the entire district with immediate effect and strict action will be taken against those who disobey these orders.
