National Lok Adalats to Be Held on September 12 for Amicable Settlement of Cases
Dharamshala, September 3: The Himachal Pradesh Legal Services Authority will organise National Lok Adalats at district and sub-divisional courts across the state on September 12 to facilitate amicable settlement of cases. This was informed by R. Mihul Sharma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority.
He said the Lok Adalats will hear cases related to banks, labour disputes, electricity and water bills, matrimonial disputes, cheque bouncing, pre-litigation matters and pending cases. Individuals seeking to settle a dispute with the concerned person or department before filing a case can approach the relevant court and submit an application.

R. Mihul Sharma said those wishing to submit their grievances online could apply through the website of the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi. They can also seek assistance by calling the toll-free helpline number 15100.
He appealed to the public to make use of the Lok Adalats on September 12 to resolve their cases amicably and save both time and money.
