Middle Bazaar to Mall Road Lift Inaugurated in Shimla

The Urban Development Minister, Vikramaditya Singh, inaugurated a new lift connecting Middle Bazaar to Mall Road under the Smart City Mission. This facility, built at ₹1.77 crore, will aid senior citizens and tourists. The lift can carry 8 people at a time with a flat ₹10 fee. Future urban projects include parking facilities, ropeways, and ducting for wires to declutter Shimla.
