Legal Innovation and Incubation Cell Organises Panel Discussion on “Building the Digital Justice Ecosystem”

The Legal Innovation and Incubation Cell (LIIC), Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, HPNLU, Shimla, organised an insightful panel discussion on “Building the Digital Justice Ecosystem” on 14 August 2026 at the University. The programme was conducted, with the objective of fostering discussions on the transformative role of technology in the administration of justice and the future of legal services.

The panel featured distinguished experts from academia, legal technology, and legal practice, namely Ms. Kratika Kushwah, Faculty, Symbiosis Law School, Pune; Mr. Chirag Mittal, CEO and Founder, Resolvify; and Mr. Mudit Nagpal, Advocate, Rajasthan High Court. The speakers shared valuable insights on the growing integration of technology with legal systems, digital dispute resolution mechanisms, innovation in legal workflows, and emerging opportunities in the legal technology sector.

The discussion highlighted the significance of digital tools in enhancing access to justice, improving efficiency in legal processes, and creating a more inclusive and responsive justice delivery system. The speakers also deliberated upon the challenges associated with technological adoption, data governance, and the evolving role of legal professionals in a rapidly changing digital environment.

Students actively participated in the interactive session and engaged with the panellists through thoughtful questions and discussions. The programme provided participants with practical perspectives on the future of legal practice and the growing importance of innovation in the legal profession.
