Waknaghat, April 30: The three-day annual cultural festival Le Festus 2026 concluded on a high note at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), drawing large participation and showcasing a vibrant mix of music, literature, dance and fashion.

Held from April 24 to 26 at the university campus, the festival brought together students and performers from across the region. Organized in collaboration with EveAnts, the event provided a platform for creative expression through competitions, performances and cultural showcases.

The grand finale featured performances by Punjabi artist Simar Kaur, entertainer Rajat Chauhan and DJ DJ Ana, attracting the largest audience turnout of the festival. Earlier, a Bollywood night by Anuj Sharma and a Kavi Sammelan added literary and musical depth to the celebrations.

The festival also highlighted regional culture with a Himachali Nati performance, alongside events such as the University Band Competition, semi-classical showcases and a fashion ramp walk.

Vice Chancellor R. K. Sharma said the festival reflected the creativity and organisational capabilities of students, adding that such platforms contribute to holistic development beyond academics.

With strong participation, smooth execution and diverse programming, Le Festus 2026 reinforced JUIT’s reputation as a hub for cultural and extracurricular excellence.
