JUIT Hosts ClearVision Challenge: Pioneering Image and Video Dehazing Solutions

The ClearVision Challenge: Image and Video Dehazing Competition, organized by the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for Education (CoE-AIE) at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Solan, Himachal Pradesh, successfully concluded after running from 23 September to 11 October 2024. The competition saw 14 teams from different academic levels participating, under the coordination of faculty members Dr. Hari Singh, Dr. Vipal Sharma, Prof. Tirath Raj Singh, and Prof. Shruti Jain, along with M.Tech. (DS) students Mr. Kunal and Mr. Robinson. The evaluation took place on 11 October, and the prize distribution was held on 18 October 2024.

Winners:
– First Place: Team NPCs (Saransh, Saarvi, Nandini, Second-year students)
– Second Place: Om Vishal (Final-year student)
– Third Place: Team Deep Fried Neurons (Ramandeep and Aditya, Third-year students)

The event concluded with faculty coordinators encouraging participants to refine their results and continue innovating in image and video dehazing technologies.
