Jairam Pays Tribute to Martyr Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, Slams Pakistan’s Provocations

Shimla, May 10, 2025 — Former Himachal Pradesh CM and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Subedar Major Pawan Kumar Jaryal and saluted his supreme sacrifice. He lauded the courage of the soldier and the legacy of service in his family, stating that the nation is proud of its brave sons. Thakur emphasized that Pakistan’s attacks are being met with a fierce and fitting response by Indian forces. Highlighting Operation Sindoor, he said India has eliminated top terrorists deep inside Pakistan. He assured the public that India’s air defence systems are impenetrable and called for calm and cooperation with authorities, assuring no shortage of essential supplies.
