IEC University Develops Ayurvedic ‘Sandhi Sukha Oil’ for Joint Pain Relief

Baddi, June 13: The Department of Pharmacy at IEC University, Atal Shiksha Kunj, Kalu Jhanda, has developed an Ayurvedic formulation, ‘Sandhi Sukha Oil’, aimed at providing relief from chronic joint pain, arthritis and muscle stiffness.
The herbal oil was formulated by pharmacy students and faculty members after six months of intensive research and development. The initiative was undertaken to create a natural and effective solution for people suffering from joint-related ailments.
According to the university, the oil has shown encouraging results during its trial phase. Patients undergoing treatment at the university’s Physiotherapy Department reported significant reduction in pain and improved joint mobility when the oil was used alongside physiotherapy sessions.
The university has made ‘Sandhi Sukha Oil’ available free of cost through its Physiotherapy Department. Citizens experiencing joint pain, back pain, knee problems or arthritis are invited to visit the campus and avail expert consultation and treatment under professional supervision.
University officials stated that the project reflects a collaborative effort between the Pharmacy and Physiotherapy Departments to integrate traditional research with practical patient care. They added that IEC University remains committed to developing innovative healthcare solutions that directly benefit society and the local community.
