Ideathon 2K26 showcased student innovation in healthcare at Shoolini University

Shoolini University hosted Ideathon 2K26, which brought together students from diverse disciplines to present innovative ideas aimed at transforming healthcare, pharmaceuticals and sustainable development.
The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences organised the event in collaboration with the EYUVA Centre and iHUB Shoolini. Students from Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, BCA and Microbiology participated and demonstrated interdisciplinary approaches to modern challenges.
The Ideathon provided a dynamic platform where participants presented forward-thinking concepts, including herbal medicines for breast cancer, plant-derived drugs and nanoparticles, artificial intelligence applications in healthcare and clinical systems, smart healthcare applications for medication tracking and patient compliance, and awareness strategies for medicinal plant cultivation. Students from the Yogananda School of AI, Computers and Data Sciences and other departments contributed significantly, showcasing the integration of biotechnology, data science and healthcare solutions.
Prof. Deepak Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chief Coordinator of the E-YUVA Centre supported by DBT BIRAC and iHUB Shoolini, addressed the participants and encouraged them to embrace innovation. He urged students to channel their ideas into meaningful solutions in healthcare, biotechnology and sustainable development, emphasising the importance of creativity, entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Chancellor Prof. P. K. Khosla congratulated the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, E-YUVA Centre and iHUB Shoolini. He encouraged students to pursue research-driven ideas and transform their innovations into real-world applications that could benefit society at large.
The event concluded with closing remarks by Dr Abhishek Singh, who acknowledged the efforts of the organising teams, participants, mentors and dignitaries for making Ideathon 2K26 a grand success.
