Himachal to Benefit from PET-Scan and SPECT-Scan Facilities: Jairam Thakur

Bilaspur, 7 March 2025: Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur attended the inauguration of advanced PET-Scan and SPECT-Scan facilities at AIIMS Bilaspur, led by BJP National President and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda.

Thakur expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and JP Nadda for providing world-class medical facilities in Himachal Pradesh. He highlighted that these state-of-the-art diagnostic tools will save patients from traveling outside the state for advanced scans.

He also criticized the current state government for delaying the installation of a PET-Scan machine at IGMC, a process initiated by the previous BJP government. He asserted that “Modi’s Guarantee” continues to enhance healthcare services across India.
