Himachal Pradesh High Court Quashes Faulty Para Pump Operator Appointments

Shimla, 9 January 2025: The Himachal Pradesh High Court has invalidated appointments in the Jal Shakti Vibhag’s Para Pump Operator recruitment due to irregularities in awarding marks for experience. Justice Ajay Mohan Goel directed authorities to reassess candidates based on valid certificates. The petitioner, Rakesh Kumar, had challenged the flawed process, ensuring transparency and fairness in recruitment practices.
