Edward’s School Honours Brave Alumni on ‘Wall of Fame

Shimla, October 13 – Edward’s School celebrated its centenary with a grand three-day event held on the school campus. The ceremony was graced by State Minister Anirudh Singh as the Chief Guest, with former Supreme Court Judge Justice Deepak Gupta and High Court Judge Justice Vipin Chandra Negi as special guests.
During the event, Edwards Association President Rajeev Sood announced the inauguration of a Memorial Park and the unveiling of a Wall of Fame to honour distinguished alumni who have brought glory to the nation and the school through their service.
The Wall of Fame features the names of national heroes including General Bipin Rawat (1958–2021), India’s first Chief of Defence Staff, Captain Jatinder Nath Sood (VrC), Captain Sanjay Dogra, Captain Sandeep Kumar, Captain Amit Joshi, and Brigadier Ravi Dutt Mehta (Kirti Chakra, Posthumous) among others.
Sood highlighted that the wall commemorates the courage and sacrifice of those who have served in the Armed Forces, bringing honour to India through their dedication, bravery, and leadership.
