DAV New Shimla Makes Clean Sweep in TT Event

The team of DAV New Shimla emerged as the Overall Champion in the DAV Sports Cluster-Level Table Tennis Championship with an outstanding performance across various categories.
In the Boys Under-14 category, DAV New Shimla secured the championship title, while DAV Dadlaghat finished as runners-up. In the Boys Under-17 category, DAV New Shimla once again claimed the top position, with DAV Tutu securing the runner-up spot.
The dominance continued in the Boys Under-19 category, where DAV New Shimla emerged victorious, while Dayanand Public School finished as runners-up.
DAV New Shimla also maintained its supremacy in the girls’ events. In the Girls Under-14 category, the school secured first place and qualified for the state-level competition. In the Girls Under-17 category, DAV New Shimla emerged champion, while DAV Lakkar Bazar finished as runners-up.
In the Girls Under-19 category as well, DAV New Shimla secured the championship title and qualified for the state-level tournament.
Prizes were distributed to the winners and runners-up during the closing ceremony. The prize distribution function was attended by Rakesh Kumar Chandel, Principal of DAV New Shimla and Cluster-I Head, as the chief guest. His presence added encouragement and motivation for the young athletes who showcased exceptional talent throughout the championship.
