Creativity and Culture Shine at Dayanand Public School’s Annual Function at Gaiety Theatre

Shimla, November 11: Dayanand Public School, The Mall, Shimla, celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony with grandeur at the historic Gaiety Theatre. The event was graced by Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh as the Chief Guest, who inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Principal Mrs. Anupam welcomed the guests and presented the school’s annual report highlighting achievements in academics, sports, and cultural activities at district, state, and national levels. The Chief Guest also released the school newsletter “Echoes of Excellence 2025” and felicitated meritorious students including Vanshil Chauhan, Devang, Saksham Nautiyal, Anushta Verma, and Anushka Thakur.

The highlight of the event was a spectacular dance-drama based on Lord Vishnu’s Dashavatar, which captivated the audience with its creative choreography and vibrant performance. Applauding the school’s excellence, Mr. Singh praised the management and students for their talent and announced a grant of ₹31,000 to encourage young performers.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, leaving a lasting impression of creativity, discipline, and cultural brilliance.
