Congress Divides India Based on Caste, Religion, and Now Color: Anurag Thakur

Anurag Singh Thakur, Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports, stated that it is extremely shameful and disrespectful for Rahul Gandhi’s mentor to refer to Indians as Chinese, Africans, Arabs, and English. This once again makes it clear that Congress has never considered India as a whole but always fragmented it. Whether it’s dividing based on caste, region, language, or now the color of one’s skin, Congress has consistently pursued a failed policy of division. Why does Congress indulge in the politics of dividing India?
Thakur made these remarks during an interaction with media personnel amidst his election campaign in the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency. He addressed a massive gathering along with BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda in Bilaspur district. Thakur also participated in a local event in Ghumarwin. Subsequently, he held four public meetings in Hamirpur.
Thakur questioned how long Rahul Gandhi’s guide, Sam Pitroda, would continue to disrespect Indians. Sometimes they talk about snatching Indian properties and giving them to their vote bank, and sometimes they compare Indians to Chinese and Africans. What kind of mentality is this?
Thakur emphasized that in the past 10 years, the Modi government has followed the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” (Collective Efforts, Inclusive Growth, Trust of All). Modi has never asked about one’s religion or caste in his development plans. Everyone has benefited equally. The only discrimination was during the Congress era. While in our government, only the marginalized were left behind. Congress wants to indulge in reservation based on religion, but as long as BJP is there, we will not let them snatch the rights of our SC, ST, and OBC brothers in favor of Muslims. We never accept reservation based on religion. The propaganda spread by Congress about reservation and the Constitution is baseless and unfounded. Wherever Congress forms the state government, it cuts reservation for SC, ST, and OBC to appease its vote bank. Congress imposed Emergency in the country. They have amended the Constitution 62 times. In contrast, the Modi government has initiated a new era of empowerment for SC, ST, and OBC in the last 10 years. We have given constitutional status to the OBC Commission. Today, the major beneficiaries of all our schemes are from the SC, ST, and OBC communities. Reservation for SC, ST, and OBC existed before, it exists today, and it will continue in the future. But it is crystal clear for us that we are firmly against reservation based on religion. Congress is now avoiding elections; many of its big leaders do not want to contest.”
Responding to Farooq Abdullah’s statement about “Pakistan having an atomic bomb,” Thakur said that today’s India is not the old India that would remain silent on the martyrdom of its brave soldiers. Today, our daughters are also carrying one AK-47 each and sending enemies to the graveyard. Previously, Pakistan would slit the throats of our soldiers, and the spineless Congress government would sit idle. But today, we enter the homes of terrorists and kill them.
