CM pays tribute to former PM Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur paid floral tributes at the statue of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on the historic Ridge Maidan.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Shimla Satya Kaundal, Councilors and other dignitaries also paid tributes to the former Prime Minister.
On this occasion, artists of Information and Public Relations Department presented patriotic songs.
After this, the Chief Minister inspected the site of the statue to be built by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Ridge. He said that efforts should be made to complete the work of this statue by 25 December 2020.
