BJP Leader Sudhir Sharma Exposes ₹100 Crore Corruption in Himachal Pradesh Power Board
Shimla, 5 July 2024- BJP leader and MLA Sudhir Sharma has unveiled a ₹100 crore corruption scandal involving the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board. Allegedly, the Congress-led government favored an Uttar Pradesh-based company, raising the tender from ₹175 crore to ₹245 crore. This, he claims, was to fund the expenses of the ongoing by-elections. Sharma criticized the government’s handling and urgency in approving the inflated tender despite financial objections, suggesting it points to rampant corruption under Congress rule.
