Awareness Programme on Managing Adolescent Stress Held in Kutheda School

Hamirpur, November 4 — An awareness programme focusing on stress management among adolescents was organized under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative by the Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Hamirpur, at Government Senior Secondary School Kutheda.

Renowned psychologist and counsellor Sheetal Verma interacted with girl students and explained symptoms, management, and control of mental stress. She highlighted that exams and career decisions often cause stress among students, but effective management can help them progress successfully in life.

CDPO Sunita Sharma advised students to use positive language while discussing mental health and emphasised expressing gratitude and appreciation to support others’ emotional well-being. Principal Rajesh Chandra thanked the Women & Child Development Department for organising the programme and called for such camps to be conducted regularly.
