Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi Urges Timely Completion of Development Projects

Solan, July 2: Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi directed government departments to ensure the timely completion of development projects so that the benefits of welfare schemes reach people without delay. Addressing the public after hearing grievances in Arki, he instructed officials to utilise allocated funds within the stipulated timeframe.

Awasthi highlighted various state government initiatives aimed at rural development and enhancing farmers’ income, including minimum support prices for naturally grown turmeric, maize and wheat, and higher procurement rates for cow and buffalo milk. He also spoke about the Rajiv Gandhi Van Samvardhan Yojana, which encourages Mahila Mandals and Yuvak Mandals to undertake plantation activities with support from the Forest Department.

The MLA said that over the past three-and-a-half years, development funds had been provided to all gram panchayats in the Arki Assembly constituency to strengthen infrastructure in roads, education, healthcare and other essential sectors. He also directed officials to promptly resolve public grievances raised during the meeting.
