Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony Held at Junga School

Shimla, November 30, 2024 – Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh attended the annual prize distribution ceremony at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Junga, as the chief guest. He emphasized the need for education, staying away from drugs, and active participation in sports. Singh highlighted ongoing development initiatives, including the recent inauguration of a college in Koti and announced the opening of an open gym, sports hostel proposal, and CCTV installation at the school.

Students presented vibrant cultural performances, including patriotic songs and traditional dances. Outstanding achievers in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities were honored, with special awards given for the Mathematics and Science Olympiads, as well as for best volunteers. Singh also allocated Rs. 75,000 from his discretionary fund for school improvements.
