AHSB Hosts Grand Carnival Amid Festive Enthusiasm

Shimla, May 09: Auckland House School for Boys organised a vibrant and entertaining Carnival on the school campus, drawing enthusiastic participation from students, parents and visitors.
The event was graced by Vidhupriya Chakravarty, former Principal, St, Thomas’ School , who attended the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The campus was transformed into a colourful festive venue with creatively designed game stalls, food courts and activity zones. Visitors enjoyed a wide variety of fun games including Dip the Coin, Pop the Tins, Ball Through the Tyre, Pass the Key, Rolling the Dice, Lucky Dip and Tambola, which remained key attractions throughout the carnival.
Food stalls serving momos, pav bhaji, golgappas, burgers, pizza, pasta, candy floss, ice cream and chaat added to the excitement, while AI games, computer activities, tattoo and face painting stalls, handicraft displays and a cake corner further enhanced the festive atmosphere.
Music, entertainment and interactive activities kept the audience engaged and made the carnival a joyful community celebration for all age groups.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Vidhupriya appreciated the efforts of the school in organising such a lively and well-coordinated event and praised the enthusiasm and teamwork displayed by the students.
A special highlight this year is the inclusion of a Kashmiri Handicraft Stall and a Scented Candles Stall, introduced to encourage and promote local vendors, traditional craftsmanship and handmade creative products. The initiative reflects the school’s effort to support local artisans while giving visitors an opportunity to explore unique handcrafted items.
School authorities stated that the carnival aimed at promoting creativity, confidence, teamwork and organisational skills among students while encouraging community participation and learning beyond academics.
The event concluded with cheerful participation and memorable moments for students, parents and guests alike.
