78th Himachal Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Shimla’s Historic Ridge

Shimla, April 15, 2025: The 78th Himachal Day was celebrated with great zeal at the Ridge, Shimla. Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh hoisted the flag and took the salute. Highlighting achievements of the Congress government, he stressed on anti-drug measures, minimum support prices for local produce, and welfare schemes like ‘Indira Gandhi Pyari Bahna Yojana’ and ‘Mukhyamantri Sukh-Aashray Yojana’. He announced initiatives like the Rajiv Gandhi Forest Conservation Scheme and CM Tourism Start-up Scheme. The event featured a grand parade led by SI Jaidev Singh and vibrant cultural performances by school students. Participating schools were felicitated with cash rewards.
