133 Eco Task Force Concludes High-Altitude Plantation Drive

A two-day high-altitude plantation drive concluded today at Hatu Peak, Narkanda (11,000 ft) with the active participation of 133 Eco Task Force, staff of Agyatvaas Ecological Resort, officials of the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department, members of the Gujjar community, and local residents.
The drive witnessed the plantation of saplings in the ecologically sensitive high-altitude landscape to strengthen the region’s green cover and promote long-term environmental conservation. On the occasion, the local community pledged to protect and nurture the newly planted saplings, keep the area free from waste, preserve the sanctity of Hatu Peak, and safeguard its natural heritage for future generations.
The plantation drive was attended by Mr C.B. (Tehsildar), Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF), Rampur, Col Vijender Sangwan, Mr Arun Kumar, DFO Kotgarh, Range Officers, social workers, and other dignitaries, who appreciated the collective efforts towards sustainable ecological conservation.
