SDM Reviews Women and Child Welfare Schemes in Sujanpur
Sujanpur, August 20, 2026: SDM Vikas Shukla reviewed the implementation of various Women and Child Development schemes at a block-level monitoring committee meeting in Sujanpur.
He informed that 1,002 children, 350 pregnant and lactating women, and 223 children are receiving supplementary nutrition through Saksham Anganwadi Centres. Under Poshan 2.0, 29 children have been identified with nutritional deficiencies, while 187 pregnant women have shown symptoms of anaemia. Officials were directed to provide focused nutritional support.
Under Mission Shakti, 1,094 women have received ₹47.32 lakh under PMMVY. The Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign has helped improve Sujanpur’s child sex ratio to 970.
The SDM directed officials to ensure timely implementation of all welfare schemes and delivery of benefits to every eligible beneficiary.
