Manimahesh Yatra 2026: Online Registration Mandatory, 5,000 Pilgrims Allowed Daily

Dharamshala, August 14: The Manimahesh Yatra 2026 will be held from September 4 to September 19, 2026, with online registration made mandatory for all pilgrims.

According to Chamba Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal, pilgrims can register through the official portal from August 25 to 27, 2026. The Manimahesh Trust has capped the daily number of pilgrims at 5,000, and no pilgrim will be permitted to undertake the journey without prior registration.

The district administration and Manimahesh Trust have urged devotees to strictly follow all safety advisories and administrative guidelines. Pilgrims have also been asked to maintain cleanliness along the route and avoid littering with plastic or other waste to protect the fragile Himalayan ecosystem.

The administration noted that the Bharmour-side track and road suffered extensive damage during the 2025 monsoon. Although repair work is underway, the newly restored track remains vulnerable. The pilgrimage may be cancelled or further restricted in case of adverse weather conditions.

Pilgrims have been advised to complete their registration on time, monitor weather conditions and official advisories, and follow all safety instructions for a safe and orderly Manimahesh Yatra.
