Shahpur, August 10: Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania began his day by reviewing development works and interacting with residents before leaving for Delhi on Monday.

At around 6:30 a.m., Pathania visited Sarnoo and inspected the ongoing construction of the Shri Ravidas Temple. He took stock of the progress of the work and sought details from the concerned representatives.

Shortly afterwards, at around 6:45 a.m., the MLA made a surprise visit to the Civil Hospital Shahpur to review healthcare services and meet patients. Despite having a flight from Gaggal to Delhi scheduled at 8:50 a.m., he prioritised visiting the hospital and personally checking on the wellbeing of patients.

During the visit, Pathania interacted with patients and their attendants and enquired about the healthcare facilities being provided at the hospital. He listened to their concerns and wished them a speedy recovery.

He also directed doctors and hospital staff to ensure attentive care for patients and provide them with quality healthcare services and essential facilities. He said ensuring accessible and quality healthcare for every patient visiting government health institutions remains a priority of the state government.

Pathania said that as an elected representative, it was his responsibility to remain connected with people, understand their concerns at the ground level and facilitate their timely resolution. He added that he would continue to work towards addressing public grievances and accelerating development activities across the Shahpur constituency.
