Cultural Committee Meets Ahead of Minjar Fair 2026

Preparations for the International Minjar Fair 2026 gathered pace as the Cultural Sub-Committee held a meeting in Chamba under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Amit Mehra.
The meeting focused on selecting artists for the fair’s cultural evenings, with committee members asked to prepare a list reflecting public preferences. Discussions also covered stage lighting, sound arrangements, orchestra management and providing a platform for local artists. Non-official members shared suggestions to enhance the cultural programmes.
The International Minjar Fair 2026 will be held from July 26 to August 2 in Chamba.
