Shoolini Univ Marks World Environment Day with ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign

Marking World Environment Day, Shoolini University organised a tree plantation drive under the nationwide ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign at the Vrindavan Garden area of its campus.
The programme was inaugurated by Brig. (Retd.) S. D. Mehta, Director Operations, Shoolini University, and Prof. Neeraj Gandotra, Associate Dean Student Welfare (DSW). Addressing the gathering, they highlighted the significance of World Environment Day and emphasised the urgent need to protect natural resources through collective action. They noted that planting and nurturing trees remains one of the most effective ways to combat climate change, improve ecological balance, and ensure environmental sustainability for future generations.
Faculty members, staff, and students enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive and planted a large number of saplings across the Vrindavan Garden area. The participants also pledged to care for the saplings and contribute towards maintaining a green campus.
