Bulldozer Falls Into Gorge During Road Work in Kasauli, Driver Killed

Solan, May 7: A bulldozer engaged in road repair work on the Jatrog-Kamli-Dangri link road under Gram Panchayat Dadwa in the Kasauli area of Solan district fell into a deep gorge on Thursday afternoon, killing the driver on the spot.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 2:30 pm while the Public Works Department was carrying out repair and widening work on the road. During the operation near Kamli, the roadside portion suddenly caved in, causing the bulldozer to lose balance and plunge nearly 250 feet down onto another road below.

The driver died at the scene, while his assistant narrowly escaped the accident.

Local authorities and police reached the spot after receiving information and further investigation into the incident is underway.
