President Droupadi Murmu Given Ceremonial Farewell in Shimla After Five-Day Visit

Shimla, May 1, 2026: President of India Droupadi Murmu was accorded a dignified farewell at Annadale Helipad in Shimla today after concluding her five-day visit to Himachal Pradesh.
The farewell ceremony was attended by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh, Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, and Director General of Police Ashok Tiwari, along with senior civil, police, and army officials.
Before departing for Delhi, the President also visited the Army Training Command in Shimla, where the Governor was present.
