DC Mukesh Repswal Chairs Review Meeting on Compliance of Educational and Financial Norms in Chamba

Chamba, April 22: A review meeting on the effective implementation of departmental and financial rules was held under the aegis of the Education Department at PM Shri Government Model Senior Secondary School, Chamba (CBSE). The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal.
Around 250 participants from nine education blocks of the district attended the meeting, including school principals, Block Elementary Education Officers, Central Head Teachers, and Head Teachers.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the crucial role of teachers in the field of education, stating that their contribution to nation-building is paramount. He directed all officials and educators to ensure complete awareness and timely, transparent compliance with departmental and financial regulations.
He further stressed the need to maintain a balance between administrative responsibilities and academic quality in schools. Instructions were also issued regarding proper maintenance of office records and ensuring transparency in financial transactions. Officials were asked to conduct regular inspections within their jurisdictions and ensure accountability for any lapses.
Expressing optimism, Repswal noted that with continued dedication and a positive approach from educators and officials, the upcoming academic session would witness significant improvement in educational standards and student outcomes.
During the meeting, Section Officer (Finance) Naveen Thakur delivered a presentation highlighting key financial rules. Earlier, Deputy Director of School Education Vikas Mahajan welcomed the participants and shared insights into departmental activities in the district.
