Jairam Thakur Meets Amit Shah, Gajendra Shekhawat in Delhi to Discuss Himachal Projects*

Shimla, February 28: Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Shekhawat during his visit to New Delhi. According to a press statement, Thakur discussed key issues and development projects related to Himachal Pradesh with the Union leaders.
During his meeting with Shekhawat, discussions focused on Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded projects in the state, the under-construction Shivdham project in Mandi, and initiatives aimed at boosting tourism. Thakur said the Shivdham project is envisioned to promote religious tourism, preserve local culture, and generate employment opportunities for youth, thereby contributing to the state’s economy.
