Himachal Pradesh, Feb 16: BJP MP and former Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur termed the Union Budget 2026–27 a transformative step for empowering India’s youth, highlighting increased allocations for education, skill development, innovation and entrepreneurship. He said higher capital expenditure and initiatives such as Semiconductor Mission 2.0, AVGC creator labs, MSME growth funds and expanded sports support will generate large-scale employment opportunities and prepare young Indians for Viksit Bharat @2047. Thakur added that investments in STEM education, startup financing and infrastructure development will strengthen youth-led growth and innovation across sectors.
