Venus Foundation to Support Children of Sujanpur Bal Ashram, MoU Signed with District Administration

Hamirpur | January 30, 2026: The district administration has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Venus Foundation to provide housing, educational facilities, recreation and long-term support for children residing at the Bal Ashram in Sujanpur. The agreement aims to ensure a dignified life along with opportunities for higher and vocational education for the children.
The MoU was signed by Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathore on behalf of the district administration and Managing Trustee of Venus Foundation, Ekta Chaudhary. District Child Protection Officer Kuldeep Singh Chauhan and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathore informed that Venus Foundation has been established under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Venus Remedies Limited and has been actively engaged in various social welfare activities. Under this collaboration, the foundation will now extend multiple facilities and support services to the children of the Sujanpur Bal Ashram.
As part of the initiative, the foundation will also sponsor a special educational and recreational tour to Jaipur next month. According to the schedule, the children will depart for Chandigarh by road on February 8 and travel to Jaipur by Vande Bharat Express. They will stay in a hotel and visit historical, educational and tourist sites from February 9 to 11, before returning to Chandigarh by air on February 12 and then proceeding back to Sujanpur by road.
The Deputy Commissioner said the initiative will bring new opportunities and joy to the children, contributing positively to their overall development and well-being.
