CM’s Reforms End Educational Discrimination, Says Sunil Sharma Bittu at Lambloo School Function

Chief Minister’s Political Advisor Sunil Sharma Bittu attended the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of Government Senior Secondary School, Lambloo, as the Chief Guest and honoured meritorious students for their achievements.
Addressing students, teachers and parents, Sharma said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has taken historic steps to eliminate discrimination in education and ensure equal opportunities for children from every background. He highlighted key initiatives such as Mukhyamantri Sukh Aashray Yojna, Dr Y.S. Parmar Education Loan Scheme, establishment of Rajiv Gandhi Day-Boarding Schools, and granting CBSE affiliation to government schools. These reforms, he said, have empowered children from poor, orphaned and ordinary families to pursue a brighter future.
Sharma added that the Chief Minister has accelerated Hamirpur’s development by initiating major projects like the new Bus Stand and advanced medical facilities at the upcoming Medical College campus, including a Cancer Care Institute, Mother & Child Hospital, Dental College, Nursing College, and nine super-speciality departments.
Speaking about local development, he assured that modern facilities will soon be added to the Ayurvedic Hospital at Lambloo, including specialised gynaecology services. Impressed by the students’ cultural performances, he announced ₹11,000 from his side as encouragement.
Special Guest and former MLA Kuldeep Singh Pathania praised the Chief Minister’s visionary leadership, saying he is working with fresh ideas and a commitment to welfare-driven development.
Earlier, Principal Subhash Dhiman welcomed the guests and presented the school’s annual report. Students showcased vibrant cultural performances, and the program was conducted by Senior Lecturer Manohar Lal.
