Citizens Can Now Access Election Support via 1950 Helpline and “Book-a-Call with BLO” Service: DC Chamba

Chamba, November 7 — District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal announced that the Election Commission of India has activated voter assistance centers to ensure fast resolution of election-related queries and complaints. Citizens can now reach out through the National Voter Helpline 1950 and use the Book-a-Call with BLO facility for assistance regarding voter services.
The DC informed that district-level call centers will operate on all working days during office hours, offering timely support in the local language. Additionally, citizens may also contact the Central Toll-Free Helpline 1800-11-1950, available between 8 AM to 8 PM, for information on electoral services.
All complaints and queries will be registered and monitored through the National Grievance Services Portal to ensure transparency and quick disposal. Through the Book-a-Call with BLO feature on the ECI NET App, voters can directly connect with Booth Level Officers and election officials, with requests resolved within 48 hours.

The District Election Officer urged the public to make maximum use of these services for any information, complaint, or assistance related to the electoral process.
