HPNLU, Shimla Triumphs at GNLU International Moot Court Competition, 2025

Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, is proud to announce the victory of its team, consisting of Ashpinder Kaur, Rimjim, and Priyanshu, all 4th-year undergraduate students, in the prestigious GNLU International Moot Court Competition, 2025. This remarkable achievement has been made possible under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of HPNLU, Shimla. The victory not only underscores the academic excellence fostered at the University but also reflects the dedication and hard work of our students.
The team, mentored by Dr. Shaifali Dixit, Chairperson of the Moot Court Committee, HPNLU, demonstrated exceptional legal acumen, research skills, and oratory prowess in the competition. Their performance in this international arena reaffirms HPNLU’s commitment to providing a world-class legal education, preparing students for global challenges, and equipping them with the skills necessary to excel in various professional domains.
The GIMC, established in 2009 by Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), has become a key platform for law students globally to test their skills in international trade law. The competition has seen robust participation from universities worldwide, including institutions from countries such as Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among others. Over the years, GIMC has fostered collaborations with eminent organizations like the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, IELPO LLM Programme, University of Barcelona, and leading law firms, offering winners exclusive opportunities such as internships and participation in prestigious academies.
