Anganwadi and Crèche Recruitment Application Deadline Extended to September 29
Interviews to Be Held in Bhatiyat on October 7 and Dalhousie on October 9
Chowari, September 3: The Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Chowari, Chamba district, has revised the application and interview schedule for recruitment to vacant posts of Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi Helpers, Crèche Workers and Crèche Helpers in the Bhatiyat and Dalhousie subdivisions.
The application deadline has been extended due to continuous rainfall and adverse weather conditions, which resulted in fewer applications than expected. The extension aims to provide more eligible and interested candidates an opportunity to participate in the recruitment process.
Eligible candidates can now submit their applications along with the required documents to the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Chowari, by September 29, 2026. The department has advised applicants to complete the process before the revised deadline.
As per the revised schedule, interviews for the posts under the Bhatiyat subdivision will be held on October 7, 2026, while interviews for the Dalhousie subdivision will be conducted on October 9, 2026. Earlier, the interviews were scheduled for September 8 and September 11, respectively.
The CDPO has clarified that candidates who have already submitted their applications to the concerned office do not need to apply again. Their previously submitted applications will remain valid for the recruitment process.
Eligible candidates have been advised to take note of the revised dates, submit their applications within the stipulated time and appear for the interviews on the scheduled dates.
