IEC University Celebrates Major Dhyan Chand National Sports Day

Baddi, August 29: IEC University, Atal Shiksha Kunj, celebrated Major Dhyan Chand National Sports Day with great enthusiasm by organizing a special sports event on the campus. The celebrations featured various competitions including Table Tennis, Volleyball, Tug of War, and a Cross-Country Race. Students participated with zeal and showcased their sporting talent, winning several prizes.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Rajesh Dalal, Chairman of Hindustan Scout and Guide, Himachal Pradesh. Addressing the students, he highlighted the importance of sports in student life and motivated them to actively engage in physical activities. He also flagged off the cross-country race.
On this occasion, Registrar Dr. Prahlad Gupta, along with faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students, paid heartfelt tribute to hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand and extended warm greetings on National Sports Day.
