BJP State Leaders Meet National President Nadda, Discuss Organizational Plans

Shimla Aug 28: BJP Himachal Pradesh General Secretary Sanjeev Katwal, along with secretaries Sumit Sharma, Dr. Sanjay Thakur, and Tilak Raj, met BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santhosh at the party’s Delhi office. The meeting focused on organizational strategies and preparations for upcoming party events.

Sanjeev Katwal informed that the BJP will celebrate PM Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on September 17 by organizing the annual “Seva Pakhwada” from September 17 to October 2 across the country. Planned activities include:

  • Cleanliness drives
  • Blood donation camps at 1000 locations
  • Tree plantation campaigns (“One Tree for Mother”)
  • Vocal for Local promotions
  • Health check-up camps
  • Intellectuals’ meetups

The party will also organize the “Modi Vikas Marathon” in over 70 cities and MP Sports Competitions in rural areas.

Katwal emphasized the growing strength of BJP in Himachal, highlighting the increase in primary membership from 8 lakh to 18 lakh. The party is working towards the goal of “Mera Booth, Sabse Majboot” to strengthen grassroots presence.
