Two Applications Approved under Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Startup Scheme

Shimla, August 23 – Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap informed that in the district-level meeting of the Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Startup Scheme, two applicants were approved for e-taxis.

The beneficiaries include Sandeep Kumar, son of Man Singh, from Junga Garawan (Mashobra Block) and Ishwar Das, son of Thakur Das, from Ward No. 3, Jhakri (Rampur Tehsil). With these approvals, a total of seven applications have been sanctioned under the scheme this year, creating new self-employment opportunities for local youth.

The DC also urged eligible unemployed youth to take advantage of the scheme, under which 50% subsidy is provided for purchasing e-taxis.
