AHSB’s Agney Singh Grover Make Mark at Heritage Cycling Ride on International Youth Day

Shimla, August 12, 2025 – Auckland House School Boys shone at the Heritage Cycling Ride organised by the Himalayan Adventure Sports and Tourism Promotion Association (HASTPA) to mark International Youth Day.
Auckland House School’s Agney Singh Grover won the Best Slogan Award for his impactful message – “Pedal with Pride, Keep Drugs Aside”. The event promoted physical fitness, a healthy lifestyle, and social awareness, with strong messages on saying “No to Drugs” and spreading HIV/AIDS awareness.
The cycling ride witnessed participation from 35 cyclists, including students from leading schools such as St. Edward’s, Lawrence School Sanawar, Loreto Convent Tara Hall, Dayanand Public School, Stokes Memorial, and Auckland House School, along with other cycling enthusiasts.
The ride promoted fitness, healthy living, HIV/AIDS awareness, and a strong “Say No to Drugs” message. Auckland House’s Agney Grover stood out with his slogan, “Pedal with Pride, Keep Drugs Aside.”

President of HASTPA, Mohit Sood, emphasised that cycling is more than a sport — it fosters discipline, fitness, and environmental awareness, symbolising the energy of youth to lead a healthier and more responsible future.
The event was flagged off from Oak Over by Honourable Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, in the presence of Honourable Health Minister Dhani Ram Shandil, senior officials, and dignitaries. The ride concluded at Peterhoff, following Shimla’s scenic heritage route.
