Document Verification Schedule to be Released Soon, Final Merit to Consider NCC Certificates and Height Marks

Shimla, August 3:
The results of the written examination for 1,088 posts of Police Constable (Specialized Duty) in Himachal Pradesh Police have been declared. The exam, conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) on June 15, saw participation from around 16,000 candidates, out of which 1,964 have qualified.

For 708 male constable posts, 1,343 candidates have been shortlisted, while 621 candidates have been selected for 380 female constable posts based on the written exam performance.

Shortlisted candidates will now be called for Document Verification, for which a detailed schedule will be announced separately by HPPSC. The Commission has uploaded the result and roll numbers of shortlisted candidates on its official website.

The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written exam, height (0-6 marks), and NCC certificates—where NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will get 4 marks, ‘B’ certificate holders 2 marks, and ‘A’ certificate holders 1 mark. Only the highest certificate will be considered if a candidate holds multiple NCC levels.

Candidates must carry original and self-attested copies of all required documents for verification. Additional details are available on the Commission’s official website.
