LRB B.Ed. Institute Solan Bids Emotional Farewell to Final-Year Students

Solan, 3 July:
LRB B.Ed. Institute, Solan, bid an emotional farewell to its final-year students with a grand ceremony themed “Memorable Journey.” The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a welcome address. Dr. Manisha Kohli, Principal of Government Degree College, Solan, was the Chief Guest and inspired the students to remain confident, self-reliant, and dedicated to their goals.

Distinguished guests including Dr. P.P. Sharma, Director Academics, Prof. R.P. Neta, Principal of Law Department, Kanchan Bala, Principal of Polytechnic Department, Dr. Avneet Gupta, Principal of Pharmacy Department, and Mrs. Shweta Gupta, Head of the Management Department, graced the occasion. The institute’s Principal, Dr. Nisha Sharma, honored the dignitaries with mementos and saplings.

Students presented vibrant cultural performances, delighting the audience. Outstanding students in various fields throughout the year were awarded medals and trophies. A special ramp walk for aspiring teachers saw Saurav Sharma and Komal Negi crowned as ‘Mr. and Miss Farewell,’ Krittik Verma and Vasundhara as ‘Mr. and Miss Personality,’ and Shubham Panwar and Pallavi as ‘Mr. and Miss Talented.’

In her address, Dr. Kohli blessed the students and emphasized the importance of hard work and perseverance. Dr. Nisha Sharma wished the students a bright future and urged them to lead lives guided by integrity and dedication.

The event was attended by the B.Ed. faculty, non-teaching staff, and students.
